MUSIC / GUIDE

Explore dubstep events

Dubstep sessions offer low-end weight, space in the rhythm and changes in sound texture. Restrained selections and more drop-driven programmes can both fall under the label. A mix from the DJs is a useful guide to the direction and energy of the event.

How to choose a session

Listen for spacious selections or a stronger emphasis on large drops.
Check accompanying bass styles and the other performers on the programme.

BACK TO CHILL takes its name from the event that connected GOTH-TRAD with the UK dubstep scene. It has gained attention as Japan's first regular dubstep party. Head to ENTER for a weekday night built around physically felt, shaking low end.
