ambient DJ events in Tokyo

MUSIC / GUIDE

Explore ambient events

Ambient sessions invite attention to space, resonance and quieter changes in sound. The experience can centre on listening rather than following a regular beat. DJ selections, electronic performances and sound-art programmes offer different ways to spend time with the music.

How to choose a session

• Use venue details to distinguish seated listening from a club-based session.
• Check for DJ sets, live work or installation formats and try the performers' recordings.
